Basalt is a quieter kitten and an absolute snuggler. He adores being petted and will always choose a cuddle over play time. The moment one of his people is stationary, he is attempting to get into their lap or cuddle beside them. He purrs as soon as he sees someone and loves it when the rest of his litter is busy playing and he gets a human all to himself. Basalt is playful and energetic when kitten games are happening and he is an easygoing kitten who follows the lead of his siblings. He is respectful of the adult cats in his foster home, eager to have their attention, but also backing off when they indicate they need space. He is best suited to an adult only home or one with teenagers/young adults. Basalt must have a feline companion in his new family; either a same aged kitten or a young adult cat who will play with him; and of course lots of available human laps for snuggling.
