Draper would like to be an only pet in his new home. He is extremely affectionate and loves to sit in or lay upside down on a lap and have his cheeks, head and chin scratched while he purrs. He is not demanding or needy - he enjoys his toys and will entertain himself but if there is a lap available he would like to be there. Draper is a low energy boy and he is content to view the world outside without going outdoors. He is well mannered and will comply with staying off counters and does very little scratching except to climb his cat climber to curl up at the top. Draper is agreeable to having his nails trimmed, welcomes brushing and is not highly food driven. He was recently neutered and can be overstimulated, so calm long strokes are best for about another 3 weeks and he needs reminding that affectionate nips are not appropriate. Draper is confident with people and new environments, he will quickly settle into a new home.
