Meringue
DSH - Male - Dob Sept 12 2023
Meringue loves people and dogs but not other cats. He is not a clever boy but he is easy going and content. He will happily watch birds and squirrels with no intention of pursuing them. He once ventured out an open door and was frightened and has not repeated that. Meringue enjoys being picked up and carried around accepting wherever he is moved to. He purrs when being brushed and raises his chin for extra scratches. Meringue does not gobble or over eat his kibble but canned food excites him. He allows his nails to be trimmed if extra cheek scratches are included. When he's finished passionately playing with his toys and investigating anything new, then he will curl up in a lap and purr. He is a confident large boy and approaches new situations with no caution. Meringue is looking for a family of adults and hopefully a friendly dog; he has not been exposed to children.
Disclosure : Someone temporarily had Meringue in their care when he was unneutered; they also had another unneutered male and an unspayed female cat. During that time the cats were in conflict and Meringue bit someone. In NHKR care, neutered and removed from other cats he has not exhibited this behaviour.
